This is an advanced course requiring basic understanding of electronics, electrical systems, and control theory. Prior exposure to PLCs or industrial systems is beneficial but not mandatory. We recommend completing our Robotics Fundamentals course or having equivalent experience before enrolling.
We provide licensed access to Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, ABB RobotStudio, and Factory I/O simulation software. All software licenses are included in the course fee, and you'll have access throughout the 2-month program and 3 months after completion.
While the course uses industry-standard simulation software, we also provide optional lab access (for students in select cities) where you can work with actual PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and industrial robots. Remote students will gain comprehensive experience through high-fidelity simulations that mirror real-world behavior.
